UK Prime Minister Theresa May has held phone conversations with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte having discussed Brexit, local media reported on Friday
The UK prime minister will have further phone calls with EU leaders over the weekend, the Sky news broadcaster reported citing May's spokesperson.
According to the spokesperson, May will also hold meetings with Cabinet ministers that will focus on the Brexit issue as well.
On Tuesday, the UK government's withdrawal deal agreed with the European Union was rejected in the House of Commons, pushing May to re-launch talks with the European Union as well as coutnry's ministers and lawmakers.
Faced with the threat of a "disorderly" Brexit, the opposition has urged the prime minister to pledge that the UK government will not settle for a no-deal Brexit.
UK citizens chose to withdraw from the European Union on June 23, 2016.
