United Russia Party Congress Decides To Establish Federal Party Commission On Ethics
The congress of the United Russia party has decided to establish a federal party commission on ethics and has already approved its composition.
On Friday, the secretary of the Voronezh regional branch of the United Russia Party, Vladimir Netesov, proposed to create such a commission on the first day of the 18th party congress with the aim to impartially consider every high-profile case and make value judgments about it.
According to the congress' decision, the commission includes 12 people. The chairman of the commission will be appointed at its first meeting.
The president also highlighted that the party played a special role in strengthening the sovereignty of the country, developing the economy, and implementing breakthrough projects.
The United Russia party congress is being held on December 7-8. Russian President Vladimir Putin and prime minister and the chairman of the United Russia party, Dmitry Medvedev, took part in the congress during its second day. A program forum in the format of discussion platforms devoted to the implementation of the party's programs for 2018 such as "Growth Economy," "Quality of Life," "Urban Environment and Clean Country" and "Rural Development" were held in the framework of the congress.
