US Charges 18 Aryan White Supremacists With Murder, Racketeering - Immigration Dept.

Eighteen members and associates of the Universal Aryan Brotherhood have been charged for racketeering, kidnapping and a drug-related conspiracy, the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency announced in a press release

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd February, 2019) Eighteen members and associates of the Universal Aryan Brotherhood have been charged for racketeering, kidnapping and a drug-related conspiracy, the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency announced in a press release.

"The indictment alleges the Universal Aryan Brotherhood (UAB) to be a racketeering enterprise which committed acts of murder, kidnapping, the trafficking of methamphetamine and firearms, money laundering, assault, and robbery throughout [the state of] Oklahoma," the release said on Thursday.

According to the indictment, the UAB is a "whites only" prison-based gang with members operating inside and outside of prisons throughout the state.

The indictment includes charges against six inmates in the Oklahoma State Penitentiary with directing a widespread methamphetamine distribution scheme using cell phones. In addition, the indictment alleges that the 18 indicted UAB members were responsible for nine murders on orders of the Main Council, the highest governing body of the UAB.
