US Charges Russian Citizen in Alleged Hacking Scheme Targeting Golf Course - Justice Dept.

A US federal jury has indicted Russian citizen Ilya Kulkov on charges of wire fraud, computer fraud and money laundering after he allegedly hacked into the computer of the Pittsburgh National Golf Course, the US Department of Justice said in a press release on Thursday.

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 29th November, 2018) A US Federal jury has indicted Russian citizen Ilya Kulkov on charges of wire fraud, computer fraud and money laundering after he allegedly hacked into the computer of the Pittsburgh National Golf Course, the US Department of Justice said in a press release on Thursday.

"Once Kulkov had control of Pittsburgh National's computer, he engaged in a systematic pattern of internet fraud by buying and exporting products from the United States to Barnaul, Russia," the release alleged.
