VIENNA (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 14th December, 2018) The Russian Mission to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) has noted a job advertisement published on the LinkedIn social network with an intent to hire US citizens for participation in secret operations in Ukraine, Russian Permanent Representative to OSCE Alexander Lukashevich said.
"We have noted a job advertisement published on the LinkedIn portal about the recruitment of Ukrainian-speaking US nationals by the MissionEssential company for implementing US secret operations in Ukraine," Lukashevich said at a regular OSCE Permanent Council session.
Lukashevich added, citing the advertisement, that the candidates were required to be skilled in communicating with local residents and to have undergone combat zone training.
The operation's activities are related to ensuring the safety of US and foreign high-ranked officials.
The Russian envoy also recalled that 200 Canadian instructors stationed near Ukraine's Lviv had trained over 10,000 Ukrainian military personnel, calling it a "contribution to the militarization of Ukraine."
Since 2014, Ukraine has been facing a military conflict in the eastern Donbas region. Western countries, particularly, the United States, have been supporting the Kiev authorities in their fight against the region's residents who refused to recognize the central government installed in 2014.
