US Hands Over Black Hawk Helicopters To Croatia - Defense Ministry

"The $53-million donation (let's call it an investment in our partner) is the largest investment of its kind in Europe," the chief of the US diplomatic mission tweeted.

Washington promised last fall to gift Croatia with a couple of UH-60 medium-lift helicopters. The Croatian government announced in March it was also in talks with Israel to buy a batch of old F-16 fighters from Israel to the tune of $485.6 million.
