WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 23rd April, 2019) The US House of Representatives Judiciary Committee has issued a subpoena to former White House Counsel Don McGahn to testify before the panel as it investigates whether President Donald Trump obstructed justice amid Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into allegations of Trump-Russia collusion, a filing revealed.

The subpoena demands McGahn provide the Judiciary Committee with documents related to its investigation by the morning of May 7 and to testify before the Committee on the morning of May 21, the document said.

The Judiciary Committee is requesting documents related to former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, former FBI Director James Comey's termination and other items related to Mueller's investigation.
