AMMAN (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 14th March, 2019) Jordan is able and willing to assist Syria in restoring the country after the conflict, but the United States openly intimidates Amman into not doing so, Gleb Desyatnikov, the Russian ambassador in Jordan, told Sputnik.
"[Jordan] has every chance and willingness to participate in Syria's restoration, as far as we understand. But it faces serious obstacles put by the United States who openly threaten Jordanian business that wants to return to Syria by sanctions," the ambassador said in an interview.
