US-Led Coalition Used Cluster Bombs In Airstrikes On Syria's Hajin, Shaafa - Reports

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 14th November, 2018) The US-led international coalition used prohibited cluster bombs in the recent airstrikes on Hajin city and Shaafa village in Syria's Deir ez-Zor province, Syrian state news agency Sana reported on Wednesday, citing local sources.
The use of cluster bombs is prohibited by the Convention on Cluster Munitions, effective since August 2010 and signed by more than 100 countries. Russia, the United States, and several other states are not part of the pact.
