US Places 12 Russian Companies On List For License Review - Commerce Department

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 26th September, 2018) The US Department of Commerce has imposed limitations on twelve Russian companies by adding them to the list for license review, a document that will be published in the Federal Register on Wednesday revealed.
"[These] entities have been determined by the US government to be acting contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States," the document said.
The US government imposed limitations on Russian companies working in the fields of information and underwater technologies as well as in the aerospace sector.
The companies include AeroComposit and Divetechnoservice, Federal State Unitary Enterprise Gamma, Joint Stock Company Vektor, Nilco Group, Obninsk Research and Production Enterprise, Oceanos, Aviadvigatel, Information Technology and Communication Systems, Scientific and Production Instruments Engineering, Syrus Systems and Voronezh Scientific Research Institute Vega.
The United States also imposed limitations against two companies from Belarus and Singapore.
The document is expected to be published in the US Federal Register on Wednesday and will come into effect on September 26.
