UNITED NATIONS (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 26th March, 2019) US Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell blocked an attempt by Democrats to pass a bill that will require the Department of Justice to make Mueller report public.
"I am going to object in order to allow the Special Counsel and the Justice Department to finish their careful professional review of a no doubt voluminous record, a record that likely contains sensitive, classified, and legally protected material," McConnell said during a Senate session on Monday.
"For all of those reasons, I object."
A summary of Mueller's investigation released on Sunday by US Attorney General William Barr said the investigation found no proof of collusion between Trump-Russia collusion during the 2016 US presidential election. Trump told reporters that "hopefully, somebody's going to be looking at the other side."
