US Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren would defeat President Donald Trump if the presidential general election were held today, a Rasmussen poll revealed on Friday

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th May, 2019) US Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren would defeat President Donald Trump if the presidential general election were held today, a Rasmussen poll revealed on Friday.

"The new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey of likely US voters shows Warren with 46 percent support to Trump's 44 percent," a press release summarizing the poll stated.

"Ten percent (10%) are undecided."

Forty-five percent (45%) share a favorable opinion of Warren, while another 45 percent view her unfavorably, the release said.

In previous Rasmussen polls this year, only former Vice President Joe Biden has beaten Trump in hypothetical one-on-one matchups with other Democratic candidates, the release added.
