US Stands Ready To Help New Zealand In Wake Of Massacre - Pompeo

The United States stands ready to offer its assistance to New Zealand in the wake a massacre at two mosques that left at least 49 people dead, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Friday
"We stand ready to offer any and all assistance," Pompeo told reporters.
Pompeo offered his personal condolences to the people of New Zealand. "The thoughts and prayers of the American people are with the victims and their families," he added.
Earlier on Friday, a gunman opened fire at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. The country's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern called the shooting a terrorist act. A total of 49 people are believed to have been killed, and more than 30 others injured.
