US Supreme Court Refuses Foreign Firm's Request To Review Mueller Subpoena - Order List

The US Supreme Court has rejected an unidentified foreign firm's request to review a grand jury subpoena issued in Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation, the court's order list showed on Monday
"The motion of respondent for leave to file a supplemental brief under seal is granted. The motion of petitioner for leave to file a supplemental reply brief under seal with redacted copies for the public record is granted in part; the supplemental reply brief will be filed under seal. The petition for a writ of certiorari is denied," the Supreme Court's order list said.
The case, which has made its way through lower courts, has been kept under seal, but court filings indicate that it was filed by a foreign company. The company has refused to comply with a Federal grand jury subpoena issued as part of Mueller's investigation and has been fined $50,000 each day since January 15, court documents showed.
Monday's ruling indicates that the unnamed company will now be required to turn over information related to the probe following the appeal's rejection.
The Supreme Court's decision follows the conclusion of the Mueller investigation.
A summary of US Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation released on Sunday said the probe found no proof of collusion between US President Donald Trump and Russia ahead of the 2016 presidential election. The report, however, still accuses Russia of meddling in the vote, an allegation that Moscow has repeatedly denied.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said Monday that Moscow hopes Washington will officially admit that claims on the alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 election are false.
The ministry also noted that the conclusions of Mueller's investigation on the lack of any collusion between Trump and Russia "simply could not be different."
Moscow has repeatedly offered the United States to professionally discuss all the claims related to election processes, the statement added.
