MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd February, 2019) Caracas sees that the EU is not an impartial member of the international contact group, Venezuelan Deputy Foreign Minister Yvan Gil said Friday.

"At the same time, we note that the European Union is not an impartial participant in this process [international contact group].

It has a rather clear position. They make presidential elections a condition for dialogue. This approach is not constitutional, we cannot apply it, without violating our constitution," Gil said at a meeting with Russian Federation Council Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Konstantin Kosachev.
