Venezuelan Vice President El Aissami To Head National Delegation At SPIEF - Moscow

ST. PETERSBURG (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 06th June, 2019) Venezuelan Industry Minister and Vice President for Economy Tarek El Aissami will head the Venezuelan national delegation at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Aleksander Shchetinin, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Department of Latin America, told Sputnik on Thursday.
"Yes," Shchetinin said, when asked to confirm that El Aissami would head the Venezuelan delegation at the forum.
In the meantime, a knowledgeable source told Sputnik that El Aissami would take part in a SPIEF panel, which Igor Sechin, the head of the Russian state-owned oil company Rosneft, would also attend.
"The Venezuelan delegation, led by the vice president for the relevant field, will take part in an energy panel and sign an agreement," the source said.
Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency is the official media partner of the forum, which will run from Thursday to Saturday.
