Yemen Government Welcomes Public Prosecution Statement On Killing Of Khashoggi

The Government of Yemen on Friday welcomed the statement issued by the Public Prosecution of Saudi Arabia regarding the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, calling it a reflection of wise leadership in establishing the principles of justice and independence of the judiciary.
In a press statement, Yemeni Government stressed that the actions taken by the Saudi judiciary to hold the suspects accountable for the murder of Khashoggi should end all attempts to politicize case in an attempt to undermine the security and stability of Saudi Arabia and its influential and pivotal role on the Arab, Islamic and international levels, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Yemen reiterated its support for the leadership, government, and people of Saudi Arabia and their total rejection of the miserable political exploitation of the crime and their strong condemnation of the malicious campaigns against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Yemeni government expressed full confidence in the fairness and transparency of the measures taken by the Saudi judiciary to punish those involved in the murder of Khashoggi.
