KIEV (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th May, 2019) Ukrainian lawmakers appealed in the Constitutional Court President Volodymyr Zelensky's decree on the dissolution of parliament, Andriy Teteruk, member of the majority faction People's Front, said Friday.

Zelensky on Tuesday signed a decree on early termination of the powers of the Verkhovna Rada and set extraordinary elections for July 21, the document was published and entered into force Thursday.

"A group of 62 lawmakers submitted an appropriate document to the Constitutional Court appealing the unconstitutional presidential decree dissolving the Verkhovna Rada," Teteruk told reporters as broadcast by Ukrainian tv channel Pryamoy.
