In the Holy Quran, there are 114 surahs called chapters. The Holy Quran is the backbone of our religion. The only book gifted by Allah to Muslims for teaching and guiding them on the ultimate path of salvation, blessings, and seeking guidance. There is a divide between these surahs.

How many Madni surah in Quran? The answer to this question is 28. Out of 114 surahs, 86 surahs were revealed in Makkah. The revelation of the Holy Quran continued for 23 years. And during this time, our beloved Last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) migrated to the city of Madina to evade the harsh, evil, and cruel behaviors of mushrikins towards Muslims. And for this reason, the revelation of the Holy Quran is divided into Makki and Madni surahs.

The ideology or emphasis of Madni surahs was on Islamic laws, monetary laws, mode of transactions between others, ethics, morality, family laws, and the relationship between Muslims and non-muslims. The most essential aspect of Madni surahs was the emphasis on the very solid ideology of Jihad. It is in Madni surah Allah that has granted the permission and the rules for performing Jihad against non-muslims and non-believers.
