تری تلاش میں غیروں کے گھر گئے ہم بھی

چرا لیں ہم سے بھی اس خود پرست نے آنکھیں

دل حبیب سے آخر اگر گئے ہم بھی

پسیجا دل نہ کسی کا ہمارے اشکوں سے

ہر آستاں پہ لیے چشم تر گئے ہم بھی

جو دیکھا کلیوں کو تجھ پر نثار ہوتے ہوئے

تو رنگ بن کے فضا میں بکھر گئے ہم بھی

جب اس کی ذوق نظر کا ہوا بہت چرچا

وفور شوق سے ایک دن سنور گئے ہم بھی

بہت سے عشق کی راہوں میں پل صراط آئے

تمہارا نام لیا اور گزر گئے ہم بھی

محال تھا کہ ہم اے جوشؔ زندہ رہ سکتے

فراق یار میں اک روز مر گئے ہم بھی
