ویسے بھی تو زنگ لگا تھا پشتینی ہتھیاروں میں

سرد نسوں میں چلتے چلتے گرم لہو جب برف ہوا

چار پڑوسی جسم اٹھا کر جھونک آئے انگاروں میں

کھیتوں کو مٹھی میں بھرنا اب تک سیکھ نہیں پایا

یوں تو میرا جیون بیتا سامنتی عیاروں میں

کیسے اس کے چال چلن میں انگریزی انداز نہ ہو

آخر اس نے سانسیں لیں ہیں پچھم کے درباروں میں

نزدیکی اکثر دوری کا کارن بھی بن جاتی ہے

سوچ سمجھ کر گھلنا ملنا اپنے رشتے داروں میں

چاند اگر پورا چمکے تو اس کے داغ کھٹکتے ہیں

ایک نہ ایک برائی طے ہے سارے عزت داروں میں
