قفس نصیبوں کا اف حال زار کیا ہوگا

پھر آ رہی ہے چمن میں بہار کیا ہوگا

دل و جگر پہ لیے ہوں گے زخم کتنوں نے

کوئی ہماری طرح دل فگار کیا ہوگا

اسی خیال سے میں عرض شوق کر نہ سکا

حیا سے رنگ رخ تاب دار کیا ہوگا

بہار دے نہ سکی ایک پھول کو بھی نکھار

خزاں کے ساتھ ہے رنگ بہار کیا ہوگا

فسردہ لالہ و گل ہیں روش روش ہے اداس

چمن میں ایسے میں جشن بہار کیا ہوگا

خدنگ ناز نے کچھ اس طرح کیا زخمی

جو دل کے زخم ہیں ان کا شمار کیا ہوگا

کبھی کی ٹوٹ گئی آس رات بھیگ گئی

کسی کے آنے کا اب انتظار کیا ہوگا
