اب جو پیروں پہ ہم کھڑے ہوئے ہیں

ایک دنیا سے ہم لڑے ہوئے ہیں

دیکھ ہم کو کہانیاں نہ سنا

ہم اسی شہر میں بڑے ہوئے ہیں

خود کو برباد کر لیا ہم نے

اپنی ضد پر مگر اڑے ہوئے ہیں

کوئی تو ہم کو تھامنے آئے

کوئی دیکھے کہ ہم کھڑے ہوئے ہیں
