ہر اک دھڑکن عجب آہٹ

پرندوں جیسی گھبراہٹ

مرے لہجے میں شیرینی

مری آنکھوں میں کڑواہٹ

مری پہچان ہے شاید

مرے حصے کی اکتاہٹ

سمٹتا شعر ہیئت میں

بدن کی سی یہ گدراہٹ

مصر میں فن مرا ضد پر

یہ بالک ہٹ وہ تریاہٹ

اجالے ڈس نہ لیں اس کو

بچا رکھو یہ دھندلاہٹ

لہو کی سیڑھیوں پر ہے

کوئی بڑھتی ہوئی آہٹ
