مری جھولی میں وہ لفظوں کے موتی ڈال دیتا ہے

مری جھولی میں وہ لفظوں کے موتی ڈال دیتا ہے

سوائے اس کے کچھ مانگوں تو ہنس کر ٹال دیتا ہے

سجھاتا ہے وہی رستہ بھی ان سے بچ نکلنے کا

جو ان آنکھوں کو خوابوں کے سنہرے جال دیتا ہے

مرا اک کاروبار جذبہ و الفاظ ہے اس سے

مرے جذبوں کو پگھلا کر وہ مصرعے ڈھال دیتا ہے

حقیقت گھول رکھتا ہے وہ رومانوں کے پانی میں

مناظر ٹھوس دیتا ہے نظر سیال دیتا ہے

اتر آتا ہے وہ شوخی پہ یوں بھی مہربانی کی

مرے اک شعر کی مہلت کو ماہ و سال دیتا ہے
