دشت افکار میں سوکھے ہوئے پھولوں سے ملے
کل تری یاد کے معتوب رسولوں سے ملے
اپنی ہی ذات کے صحرا میں سلگتے ہوئے لوگ
اپنی پرچھائیں سے ٹکرائے ہیولوں سے ملے
گاؤں کی سمت چلی دھوپ دوشالا اوڑھے
تاکہ باغوں میں ٹھٹھرتے ہوئے پھولوں سے ملے
کون اڑتے ہوئے رنگوں کو گرفتار کرے
کون آنکھوں میں اترتی ہوئی دھولوں سے ملے
اس بھرے شہر میں نشترؔ کوئی ایسا بھی کہاں
روز جو شام میں ہم جیسے فضولوں سے ملے
