اس کی آنکھوں پہ وار دیں آنکھیں

اک نظر ہی میں ہار دیں آنکھیں

دل مجھے اس نے بے قرار دیا

اور بے اختیار دیں آنکھیں

پہلے چہرہ چھپا لیا اس نے

بعد میں اشتہار دیں آنکھیں

دل وہیں رہ گیا جہاں ہم نے

سرسری سی گزار دیں آنکھیں

خواب میرے چرا لئے اس نے

جس کو میں نے ادھار دیں آنکھیں

میں نے آنکھوں میں جھانکنا چاہا

اس نے دل میں اتار دیں آنکھیں

میں تو خاموش ہی رہا لیکن

وقت رخصت پکار دیں آنکھیں

تو بھی مومنؔ کمال کرتا ہے

تو نے سورج سے چار دیں آنکھیں
