در خیال بھی کھولیں سیاہ شب بھی کریں

پھر اس کے بعد تجھے سوچیں یہ غضب بھی کریں

وہ جس نے شام کے ماتھے پہ ہاتھ پھیرا ہے

ہم اس چراغ ہوا ساز کا ادب بھی کریں

سیاہیاں سی بکھرنے لگی ہیں سینے میں

اب اس ستارۂ شب تاب کی طلب بھی کریں

یہ امتیاز ضروری ہے اب عبادت میں

وہی دعا جو نظر کر رہی ہے لب بھی کریں

کہ جیسے خواب دکھانا تسلیاں دینا

کچھ ایک کام محبت میں بے سبب بھی کریں

میں جانتا ہوں کہ تعبیر ہی نہیں ممکن

وہ میرے خواب کی تشریح چاہے جب بھی کریں

شکست خواب کی منزل بھی کب نئی ہے ہمیں

وہی جو کرتے چلے آئیں ہیں سو اب بھی کریں
