اس کی خوشبو سے گفتگو ہے ابھی

وہی خانہ بدوش امیدیں

وہی بے صبر دل کی خو ہے ابھی

دل کے گنجان راستوں پہ کہیں

تیری آواز اور تو ہے ابھی

زندگی کی طرح خراج طلب

کوئی درماندہ آرزو ہے ابھی

بولتے ہیں دلوں کے سناٹے

شور سا یہ جو چار سو ہے ابھی

زرد پتوں کو لے گئی ہے ہوا

شاخ میں شدت نمو ہے ابھی

ورنہ انسان مر گیا ہوتا

کوئی بے نام جستجو ہے ابھی

ہم سفر بھی ہیں رہ گزر بھی ہے

یہ مسافر ہی کو بہ کو ہے ابھی
