عدیل شاکر
انہی گلیوں میں اک ایسی گلی ہے
کہ جس سے اپنی وحشت دیدنی ہے
ہمیں بس خواہش _ دنیا ہے فی الحال
اور ایسی ہے کہ دنیا سے بڑی ہے
ہے گرچہ دائمی پہلی محبت
مگر اب کے مصیبت دوسری ہے
وہ مجھ کو یاد کر کے خوش تو ہوگا
بھلے اب یہ سہولت عارضی ہے
اسے اب کون سے دریا میں ڈالیں
عجب اک ہم سے نیکی ہو گئی ہے
بھلانا ہے اسے شاکر اگرچہ
مگر ایسی بھی کیا جلدی پڑی ہے
