سورج کوئی نہ کوئی ستارا طلوع ہو
تنہا اگر خدا ہے تو تنہا طلوع ہو
بے رشتگی کا ایک سمندر ہے اور میں
مدت سے منتظر ہوں کنارا طلوع ہو
آ میرے پاس اور کبھی اس طرح چمک
میرے بدن سے بھی ترا سایا طلوع ہو
جمشیدؔ کیا کرو گے اگر یوں بھی ہو کبھی
سورج کے دائرے سے اندھیرا طلوع ہو

be-rishtagi ka ek samundar hai aur main
muddat se muntazir hun kinara tulua ho
aa mere pas aur kabhi is tarah chamak
mere badan se bhi tera saya tulua ho
'jamshed' kya karoge agar yun bhi ho kabhi
suraj ke daere se andhera tulua ho
