کون ہے بچ گیا جو الفت سے

اب خدا ہی بچائے تہمت سے

ہو گئی ہے ہوا بھی زہریلی

لے نہیں سکتے سانس راحت سے

تم مرے سامنے رہو کچھ وقت

آنکھ بھر دیکھ لوں محبت سے

تو مری دلبری بھی دیکھے گا

آ کبھی مجھ کو ملنے فرصت سے

مدتوں ساتھ وہ رہا میرے

کچھ بدلتا نہیں ہے صحبت سے

بانٹتے ہیں محبتیں ہر سمت

اپنی بنتی نہیں عداوت سے

ان سے نسبت رکھا کریں افضلؔ

سنت ملتے ہیں اب غنیمت سے

kaun hai bach gaya jo ulfat se
ab KHuda hi bachae tohmat se

ho gai hai hawa bhi zahrili
le nahin sakte sans rahat se

tum mere samne raho kuchh waqt
aankh bhar dekh lun mohabbat se

tu meri dilbari bhi dekhega
aa kabhi mujh ko milne fursat se

muddaton sath wo raha mere
kuchh badalta nahin hai sohbat se

banTte hain mohabbaten har samt
apni banti nahin adawat se

in se nisbat rakha karen 'afzal'
sant milte hain ab ghanimat se
