کسی سے عشق نبھایا ' مجھے مزہ آیا
کہ اُس نے جتنا ستایا ' مجھے مزہ آیا
غرورِ حُسن سنبھالے کہاں سنبھلتا تھا
وہ آئنے میں جو آیا ' مجھے مزہ آیا
پرائی خاک اُٹھانا تو اک مصیبت تھی
میں جتنا خود میں سمایا ' مجھے مزہ آیا
میں اپنی نیند سے اُٹھ کر بھلا کہاں جاتا
وہ خود ہی خواب میں آیا ' مجھے مزہ آیا
کسی کے حُسن سے کچھ ایسے رات روشن تھی
چراغ بھی نہ جلایا ' مجھے مزہ آیا
خمارِ شب کا طرف دار ہوگیا تھا دل
کسی نے خواب چُرایا ' مجھے مزہ آیا
گلہ کِیا تھا پرندوں نے ایک دن گوہَر
سو میں نے پیڑ لگایا ' مجھے مزہ آیا
