تیری دنیا سے یہ دل اس لیے گھبراتا ہے

تیری دنیا سے یہ دل اس لیے گھبراتا ہے
اس سرائے میں کوئی آتا کوئی جاتا ہے
تو نے کیا دل کی جگہ رکھا ہے پتھر مجھ میں
غم سے بھر جاؤں بھی تو رونا نہیں آتا ہے
وہ مرے عشق کی گہرائی سمجھتا ہی نہیں
راستہ دور تلک جائے تو بل کھاتا ہے
پھر بھلا کس کے لیے اتنی چمکتی ہے یہ ریت
کوئی دریا بھی نہیں ہے جو کہیں جاتا ہے
اس کے ہاتھوں میں وہ پرکار ہے جس سے گوہرؔ
گھوم جاتی ہے زمیں آسماں چکراتا ہے
