مری فطرت ستاروں سے اجازت چاہتی ہے
عجب ٹھہراؤ پیدا ہو رہا ہے روز و شب میں
مری وحشت کوئی تازہ اذیت چاہتی ہے
میں تجھ کو لکھتے لکھتے تھک چکا ہوں میری دنیا
مری تحریر اب تھوڑی سی فرصت چاہتی ہے
ادھر منہ زور موجیں دندناتی پھر رہی ہیں
مگر اک ناؤ دریا سے بغاوت چاہتی ہے
