اداس رات کو آسودۂ بہار کروں

کچھ اور چاہ بڑھاؤں کچھ اور درد سہوں

جو مجھ سے دور ہے یوں اس کو ہم کنار کروں

وفا کے نام پہ کیا کیا جفائیں ہوتی رہیں

میں ہر لباس جفا آج تار تار کروں

وہ میری راہ میں کانٹے بچھائے میں لیکن

اسی کو پیار کروں اس پہ اعتبار کروں

یہ میرے خواب مری زندگی کا سرمایہ

نہ کیوں یہ خواب بھی میں آج نذر یار کروں
