اندھیرا سا کیا تھا ابلتا ہوا
کہ پھر دن ڈھلے ہی تماشا ہوا
یہیں گم ہوا تھا کئی بار میں
یہ رستہ ہے سب میرا دیکھا ہوا
نہ دیکھو تم اس ناز سے آئینہ
کہ رہ جائے وہ منہ ہی تکتا ہوا
نہ جانے پس کارواں کون تھا
گیا دور تک میں بھی روتا ہوا
کبھی اور کشتی نکالیں گے ہم
ابھی اپنا دریا ہے ٹھہرا ہوا
جہاں جاؤ سر پر یہی آسماں
یہ ظالم کہاں تک ہے پھیلا ہوا
