اپنے نہ جل سکے تو ہمارے بجھا دیے

جتنے بھی تھے چراغ وہ سارے بجھا دیے

اس بار دے ہی دیتا میں دشمن کو مات بھی

لیکن یہ کس نے میرے سہارے بجھا دیے

ان آنسوؤں کی بھیڑ سے ٹوٹا ہے حوصلہ

بارش نے آج پھر سے ستارے بجھا دیے

وحشت زدہ ہوا تھا تو آنکھوں کو چیر کر

آتے تھے جتنے خواب تمہارے بجھا دیے

یہ بات طے ہوئی تھی کہ جلتے رہیں دیے

لیکن یہ کیا کہ دل سے اتارے بجھا دیے
