حرف میں رس نہیں آواز میں تاثیر نہیں

آ ہی جاتا ہے اجڑتی ہوئی دنیا کا خیال

باور آیا کہ ترا درد ہمہ گیر نہیں

ہجر اک وقفۂ بیدار ہے دو نیندوں میں

وصل اک خواب ہے جس کی کوئی تعبیر نہیں

میرے اطراف یہ زنجیر علائق کیسی

زندگی جرم سہی قابل تعزیر نہیں

کس طرح پائیں اس افسردہ مزاجی سے نجات

ہمدمو ہم سخنو کیا کوئی تدبیر نہیں
