رات پھر رنگ پہ تھی اس کے بدن کی خوشبو

دل کی دھڑکن تھی کہ اڑتے تھے لہو میں جگنو

جیسے ہر شے ہو کسی خواب فراموش میں گم

چاند چمکا نہ کسی یاد نے بدلا پہلو

صبح کے زینۂ خاموش پہ قدموں کے گلاب

شام کی بند حویلی میں ہنسی کا جادو

صحن کے سبز اندھیرے میں دمکتے رخسار

صاف بستر کے اجالے میں چمکتے گیسو

جھلملاتے رہے وہ خواب جو پورے نہ ہوئے

درد بیدار ٹپکتا رہا آنسو آنسو
