تھم گیا درد اجالا ہوا تنہائی میں

برق چمکی ہے کہیں رات کی گہرائی میں

باغ کا باغ لہو رنگ ہوا جاتا ہے

وقت مصروف ہے کیسی چمن آرائی میں

شہر ویران ہوئے بحر بیابان ہوئے

خاک اڑتی ہے در و دشت کی پہنائی میں

ایک لمحے میں بکھر جاتا ہے تانا بانا

اور پھر عمر گزر جاتی ہے یکجائی میں

اس تماشے میں نہیں دیکھنے والا کوئی

اس تماشے کو جو برپا ہے تماشائی میں
