آتے آتے کدھر گئی خوشبو
احمد رئیس
آتے آتے کدھر گئی خوشبو
راستے میں بکھر گئی خوشبو
اس کو ڈھونڈوں تو اب کہاں ڈھونڈوں
روٹھ کر کس کے گھر گئی خوشبو
ایک دو پل رہی رفیق سفر
پھر نہ جانے کدھر گئی خوشبو
قلب تا قلب روشنی بن کر
جسم و جاں میں اتر گئی خوشبو
پھول بن کر کھلی وہ ہاتھوں میں
اور پھر خود بکھر گئی خوشبو
میری سانسوں میں گھر کیا اس نے
میرے اندر اتر گئی خوشبو
آج احساس ہو رہا ہے رئیسؔ
وقت سے پہلے مر گئی خوشبو

jism-o-jaan mein utar gai KHushbu
phul ban kar khili wo hathon mein
aur phir KHud bikhar gai KHushbu
meri sanson mein ghar kiya us ne
mere andar utar gai KHushbu
aaj ehsas ho raha hai 'rais'
waqt se pahle mar gai KHushbu
