زندگی ایسی بھی ہوتی ہے بھلا

روشنی اب میرے اشکوں سے ہے بس

تیرگی ایسی بھی ہوتی ہے بھلا

ہنستے ہنستے ہو گیا برباد میں

خوش دلی ایسی بھی ہوتی ہے بھلا

چیختا رہتا ہوں اکثر بے سبب

بیکسی ایسی بھی ہوتی ہے بھلا

جی رہا ہوں میں اسے دیکھے بغیر

بے حسی ایسی بھی ہوتی ہے بھلا

پوچھتے ہو عیب اوروں سے مرے

دوستی ایسی بھی ہوتی ہے بھلا

زندگی ایسی ہی ہوتی ہے بھئی

زندگی ایسی بھی ہوتی ہے بھلا

رنگ ہی چہرے پہ لہراتے ہیں اب

جاں کنی ایسی بھی ہوتی ہے بھلا

ہیں لہو کی بوندیں اب میری سپاہ

سرکشی ایسی بھی ہوتی ہے بھلا

ایک ہی صورت یہاں چاروں طرف

روشنی ایسی بھی ہوتی ہے بھلا

گال جھلسے جا رہے ہیں کیوں مرے

چاندنی ایسی بھی ہوتی ہے بھلا
