اب آگہی کا زہر زباں پر نہ آئے گا

اب کے بچھڑ کے اس کو ندامت تھی اس قدر

جی چاہتا بھی ہو تو پلٹ کر نہ آئے گا

یوں پھر رہا ہے کانچ کا پیکر لیے ہوئے

غافل کو یہ گماں ہے کہ پتھر نہ آئے گا

پھر بو رہا ہوں آج انہیں ساحلوں پہ پھول

پھر جیسے موج میں یہ سمندر نہ آئے گا

میں جاں بلب ہوں ترک تعلق کے زہر سے

وہ مطمئن کہ حرف تو اس پر نہ آئے گا
