آپ آئے بھی مگر رونے کے عادی روئے

ان کے آ جانے سے کچھ تھم سے گئے تھے آنسو

ان کے جاتے ہی مگر رونے کے عادی روئے

ہائے پابندیٔ آداب تری محفل کی

کہ سر راہ گزر رونے کے عادی روئے

ایک تقریب تبسم تھی بہاراں لیکن

پھر بھی آنکھیں ہوئیں تر رونے کے عادی روئے

درد مندوں کو کہیں بھی تو قرار آ نہ سکا

کوئی صحرا ہو کہ گھر رونے کے عادی روئے

اے فرازؔ ایسے میں برسات کٹے گی کیوں کر

گر یوں ہی شام و سحر رونے کے عادی روئے
