کہ تیری بات کی اور تیرا نام بھی نہ لیا

خوشا وہ لوگ کہ محروم التفات رہے

ترے کرم کو بہ انداز سادگی نہ لیا

تمہارے بعد کئی ہاتھ دل کی سمت بڑھے

ہزار شکر گریباں کو ہم نے سی نہ لیا

تمام مستی و تشنہ لبی کے ہنگامے

کسی نے سنگ اٹھایا کسی نے مینا لیا

فرازؔ ظلم ہے اتنی خود اعتمادی بھی

کہ رات بھی تھی اندھیری چراغ بھی نہ لیا
