اداس کر کے دریچے نئے مکانوں کے
ستارے ڈوب گئے سبز آسمانوں کے
گئی وہ شب جو کبھی ختم ہی نہ ہوتی تھی
ہوائیں لے گئیں اوراق داستانوں کے
ہر آن برق چمکتی ہے دل دھڑکتا ہے
مری قمیص پہ تنکے ہیں آشیانوں کے
ترے سکوت سے وہ راز بھی ہوئے افشا
کہ جن کو کان ترستے تھے راز دانوں کے
یہ بات تو جرس شوق کو بھی ہے معلوم
قدم اٹھیں گے تو بس تیرے نا توانوں کے
