آنکھ کی مار سے پرے بھی دیکھ

چار سو گونجتے ہیں سناٹے

کبھی سنسان مقبرے بھی دیکھ

کانپتی ہیں لویں چراغوں کی

روشنی کو قریب سے بھی دیکھ

سوزش فرقت مسلسل سے

آنچ دیتے ہیں قہقہے بھی دیکھ

بند ہونٹوں کی نغمگی بھی سن

سوتی آنکھوں کے رت جگے بھی دیکھ

دیکھنا ہو اگر کمال اپنا

آئینہ دیکھ کر مجھے بھی دیکھ
