کوئی ماضی کے جھروکوں سے صدا دیتا ہے

سرد پڑتے ہوئے شعلوں کو ہوا دیتا ہے

دل افسردہ کا ہر گوشہ چھنک اٹھتا ہے

ذہن جب یادوں کی زنجیر ہلا دیتا ہے

حال دل کتنا ہی انسان چھپائے یارو

حال دل اس کا تو چہرہ ہی بتا دیتا ہے

کسی بچھڑے ہوئے کھوئے ہوئے ہم دم کا خیال

کتنے سوئے ہوئے جذبوں کو جگا دیتا ہے

ایک لمحہ بھی گزر سکتا نہ ہو جس کے بغیر

کوئی اس شخص کو کس طرح بھلا دیتا ہے

وقت کے ساتھ گزر جاتا ہے ہر اک صدمہ

وقت ہر زخم کو ہر غم کو مٹا دیتا ہے
