یہ داستان غم دل کہاں کہی جائے

یہاں تو کھل کے کوئی بات بھی نہ کی جائے

تمہارے ہاتھ سہی فیصلہ مگر پھر بھی

ذرا اسیر کی روداد تو سنی جائے

یہ رات دن کا تڑپنا بھی کیا قیامت ہے

جو تم نہیں تو تمہارا خیال بھی جائے

اب اس سے بڑھ کے بھلا اور کیا ستم ہوگا

زبان کھل نہ سکے آنکھ دیکھتی جائے

یہ چاک چاک گریباں نہیں ہے دیوانے

جسے بس ایک چھلکتی نظر ہی سی جائے

کوئی سبیل کہ یہ سحر جاں گسل ٹوٹے

کوئی علاج کہ یہ دور بے بسی جائے
